QUICK FIRST, A CALENDAR REMINDER TO OUR FAMILIES. STUDENTS WILL HAVE EARLY DISMISSAL ON NOVEMBER 11TH FOR VETERANS DAY AND THEN OUR SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 12. OUR STAFF WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN PROFESSIONAL LEARNING CONFERENCE DURING THE CLOSURE TO STUDENT. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO FAMILIES THROUGH CONNECT FIVE COMMUNICATION THIS WEEK. UH, PHONE AND IN PERSON COVERS AT THE BUILDINGS WILL RESUME ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH JUST QUICKLY ABOUT THE TRAINING BOARD. THE TRAINING FOCUS FOR THE DAY IS PROVIDING STRATEGY, TECH STRESS AND ANXIETY. THE LAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN MORE DIFFICULT, SO WE LOOK FORWARD TO STAFF HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY ENGAGE. AND PARTICIPATED, SELF GUIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEANT TO REFOCUS AND REJUVENATE, SO A LOT OF WORK HAS GONE INTO THE PLANNING FOR THAT. BUT IT'S NOT JUST DEALING WITH. MM ALSO THE LATEST EDITION, THE 2021 FALL EDITION OF INSPIRE MAGAZINE, WHICH IS THE MAGAZINE PUBLISHED BY OUR PARTNERS AT HARFORD COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION. CROSSROAD IS JUST OPENING OUR SECOND JUDY CENTER IN HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SO AS PART OF THE BLUEPRINT LEGISLATION, THEY INCREASED FUNDING FOR JUDY CENTERS AROUND THE STATE. UM WE RECEIVED A COMPETITIVE $330,000 GRANT FROM THE JUDITH P. HOYER EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION CENTER. MM THIS IS EXCITING BECAUSE THE CENTRAL FACT COMPREHENSIVE EARLY CARE AND. CATION SERVICES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY EVEN BEFORE THEY BEGIN THE TRADITIONAL PRE K OR K CLASSES. THIS FORWARD PROGRAM, AS WE SAID, IS FUNDED THROUGH A GRANT BY MSD. AND MANY WE HAVE MANY PARTNERS WHO CONTRIBUTE AND HELP SO AND THEN I WOULD CLOSE WITH. AS I'VE SHARED BEFORE THE PRESENTATION I DID TONIGHT ABOUT OUR REPORT.
